I mean agreed but as much as i love rock i also wish if they do bands i can also have like jazz bands or small orchestraand have some new instruments for that cause like idk I don't want them to get stuck with pop/rock only

It could be so great if we just got a whole music pack with a bunch of different new music instrument, an option to do bands and go to or do concerts and anything alike. Honestly, I wish there were more instruments like drums, bass, flutes. It could be so amazing and I would definitely buy that pack if they made a music pack with (at least) all that. I really hope they do.

Maybe it could go beyond just rock(etc), and also have some elements for a folk band. We already have a violin, how about a double bass, an accordion, an upright piano, and a bodhrán or something similar?And for some more unusual instruments, how about a Swarmatron, theremin, and a saw?And a standing keyboard... Who the heck sits down to play? But in TWENTY YEARS of The Sims we have never had a playable woodwind or brass instrument aside from the snake charming instrument in TS1 and 3 (which is a real wind instrument, of course, but is not implemented as an instrument, but instead as a gimmick for snake charming).The concept art for TS4 had a jazzy ensemble with a trumpet, trombone and saxophone player IIRC. And the base-game is chalk full of saxophone signs and artwork. It's just a bit insulting. =/ Twenty. Years.

If we get bands I truly don't want set instruments to be forced bands should be able to have a combination of instruments not just the basic guitar bass drums but also include what we have in the game now like the violin or if you have Vampires the pipe organ should also be a band option with Willow Creek existing not having a saxophone in bands is a crime.

I really want the flexibility to form any sort of music ensemble we desire, whether it is a symphonic orchestra, an a cappella choir, a jazz trio, or a punk rock band. The instruments I am most hoping for are saxophone, drums, and theremin. My second choices would be trumpet, cello, and xylophone.

@Simmingal cool if they can add some world instruments, like the different string instruments they have in Asia and Africa and some wind instruments too.

A music school lot type would be cool too.

It all sounds good besides "Music lessons for kids and teens (rabbit hole)" I'd actually hate that seeing as I mostly play the younger life stages and them being sent to yet another rabbit hole as their main game play as you listed here would be horrible rabbit hole school is bad enough. What if I want to play a child who is really into music who takes lessons and practices his guitar who grows into a teen who wants to start a band the game play for this Sim should not have to start as an adult so boring.
