Unlike @Chicklet453681 I definitely am a micro-manager! But I really like this idea. Sometimes I know I want my Sim(s) to be in a certain room, but I don't know what I want them to do in there. Having my Sims hangout in the kitchen, and autonomously grab a coffee/food as they chat would be great. It also means that they would stay and chat in the kitchen instead of wandering off.
Perhaps there could be an interaction similar to "send home", where Sims can ask others to leave a room. I can imagine teen Sims telling their younger siblings to "get out of my room".
