I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but if you go to build mode on your lot and press Y on the keyboard, it selects the whole lot including landscaping and it allows you to rotate everything. There's no restrictions when it comes to the lot being out of bounds, except it'll delete whatever doesn't fit, which means you can turn everything to face the front, if its backwards, all at once. I just figured this out because I'm building Newcrest and it is extremely handy!
