Ru Fogel - A One Month One World One Year / Opposites Attract Challenge - Updated Feb. 1

Ru decided to check out the local park, even though it was basically a blizzard outside. It was either that or his tent with a reindeer. His parents decided to go on a hike and so he was left to his own devices.

There was a small garden area in the park and he knew these plants were from the ones his mom had planted when she lived here. Would it be cheating if he picked some and started his own garden? Only the holly was able to be harvested, so he picked some.

There was a girl with pink hair playing chess and Ru decided to join her. She seemed to be upset about something, and so Ru tried cheering her up. She looked as if she might be into winter sports, like him.

Her name was Brenda Bear and they played chess for awhile and talked. Soon, some others came over as well.

Finally, it seemed like Ru was making some friends. He asked them all to come to the slopes with him, and they did. The first thing Ru did was buy some gear, though he could barely see through the snow.

As he and Brenda walked up to the top of the bunny slope they talked about their families. Brenda had lived in Mt. Komorebi her whole life. Apparently her parents had met here when they were teens and had been together ever since. Wow!

Things started out smoothly.

Since they were already on the ground...they decided to stay there.

They talked and pretended to cloud gaze (like they could see the clouds through all the snow) for a long time, and then finally they stood up.

Brenda said, "Hey, you know there's a school dance today, right? Let's go together."

Yes, of course he wanted to go! Truth be told, he was looking forward to some warm cafeteria food that he was sure would be served at the dance, and...he had to admit, Brenda was pretty cute.

(For some reason the prom event didn't trigger so...they didn't actually go anywhere, but we'll just pretend. Brenda is hot-headed so she has a conflicting trait :) )
