It was Friday, which meant Exams. Even though he hadn't studied much, he was pretty confident. He passed and was still able to spend some time painting.

And it finally payed off! He had sold several paintings on plopsy now and was able to pay his bills. He even was able to construct a small, albeit rather ugly, greenhouse in order to start a garden. Once he had a steady stream of income going he'd be able to work on constructing a house. Thankfully, he had the onsen facilities which had showers and vending machines to use, so he was getting by, though he had considered getting a part time job as well.

But, he had other things to consider. Prom was tomorrow and he made the perfect promposal sign to ask Brenda to go with him.

They went rock climbing together, practicing on the practice wall.

It was fun, but Ru made a mental note to buy some climbing gear.

At the top he presented Brenda with his sign, and she said yes, she'd go with him!

Climbing the practice wall had been exhilarating, and now Ru knew how he wanted to ask Brenda to be his girlfriend. It would have to wait for now though.
