Ru Fogel - A One Month One World One Year / Opposites Attract Challenge - Updated Feb. 1

Saturday came and Ru spent the morning practicing his rock climbing skills. He really wanted to try tackling that mountain soon.

Some people were having a get together before prom, but Ru and Brenda decided to go on a hike instead. Brenda seemed weary that they may get attacked by insects again, but Ru assured her he had brought plenty of repellent this time.

They reached a cave with some strange statues, but Ru was more worried about Brenda. She seemed very distant today. Perhaps she just wasn't having a good day?

In fact, she seemed really annoyed with him.

He tried cheering her up, but it didn't really seem to help. He hoped she would be feeling better when it was time for prom.

Brenda looked beautiful in her dress, but she still seemed upset about something. She was very quiet and kept staring at him expectantly. Ru wasn't sure what to do. He wasn't really enjoying prom all that much. For one thing, the tag of his suit kept poking him in the back of the neck which was very uncomfortable!

Still, they did some dancing and had some food.

Brenda was not into taking a prom photo though.

Prom seemed to pass as quickly as it had come and Ru hadn't even gotten a single kiss from Brenda. Something was definitely wrong. Was she mad that he hadn't asked her to be his girlfriend yet? Maybe she thought he wasn't interested? Whatever it was, he knew not to ask a hot-headed sim until she had cooled down a little bit.

The next morning he went on a hike to clear his mind and encountered some forest spirits. Not really thinking, he tried capturing one, which made it very angry. The rest of the day he felt as if a negative cloud had settled around him. Probably not the best time to try talking to Brenda.

He was getting better, but he still fell a lot.

He'd been falling off his broom all day too. This was just not his weekend.

Well, I do plan on him asking Brenda out soon before she gets too upset with him. I did want to see a bit of her hot-headed side, though when they went on the hike and to prom, she actually had a scared moodlet. She really was not having a great time.

I really need to finish this aspiration fast, as it's almost February!
