I'm curious what you all feel is a good word count for a chapter. A quick look at this one, breaking it up into three parts at the logical points, each part would be roughly 2500 to 3500 words. Is that too much for a comfortable read? I still have editing to do so the word count will come down some, but they will still be big. The finale is the hardest one to break down further and it's the one that is 3500 words.
I wanted to get your feelings. I know some will be fine with the heavier word counts but I want to take as many opinions into account as I work on this.? Thank you all so much for reading!❤️
Edit: I should clarify, I’m not really looking to take content out. There were a few small bits that I wasn’t sure would make the final cut. This is about deciding how many parts to break it into more than what’s included.?
