Share Your Builds!

Hi, forgive me if there is already a thread of this nature. I certainly couldn't find it. So, I just built what I hope will be the floorplan for the house my hubby and I plan to build, once he retires. He says it will be our forever house. (He's just too cute.)  At any rate, I had expressed a desire to have a log cabin quite some time ago. Then I really didn't mention it again.  Surprise, surprise, he's suddenly tells me he's found some log cabin construction companies. One in particular will take your design and create the pre-fab walls to put together (or something like that). I let hubby know I can do that in my game. I started, scrapped, so many floorplans that just didn't hit the mark. Recently, I recreated the first two floors of a house my grand aunt and uncle had that was in Los Angeles, CA.  My eldest son took his very first baby steps in the living room in that house. It was allegedly built by a Civil War Officer for his bride.  It was a lovely house.

Since we want only one story, we are getting older, I thought, what if I adapt that floor plan I love so much?  It got me thinking. We want a total of three bedrooms, with the notion two of them would be offices when not housing a guest.  Well, today, I went into my build save (which is exactly what it says, builds only). I had some luck. I moved walls in and out, tried my best to not get frustrated and pretty soon, I settled into the build and found myself relaxing.  I would like to now share the front view of this 'cabin'.  I'll take more shots sides and back, plus overhead shots of the floor plan at another time, for now, here it is: (Don't worry about it being offset on the property, I wanted enough land to do something else with.)
