Share your Island Living builds!

Gallery etiquette question: I have never uploaded anything to the gallery before. However, I recently downloaded a small lot that had a building that was roughly the shape I wanted for part of my lot. I then put that lot/building on one corner of the 50x50 lot in Sulani; I completely removed all of the furnishings and replaced them (not just recolors, completely different items and layout), recolored the walls and roof, and knocked down some of the interior walls and added others. I also removed the landscaping and added my own. Basically, I just used the exterior shape of the original building. Most importantly, I added several new buildings on the remaining 2/3 of the lot, completely designed, built, and furnished by me.

So, basically, the vast majority of the lot is my original work. However, I don't want to take credit for the first simmer's building. As I say, I've never uploaded anything before, but I'm actually really proud of the way this lot turned out, the name, the concept, etc. And I think other people might enjoy it. Is it sufficient to upload it with a credit to the original lot, or do I need to actually ask permission to post it first?
