My Generation 2 heir with his niece. I only play the Generational family. I let the game have free reign on the look of my Sims outside of it, unless it's a hot mess tragedy. I decided on wanting to see what my Generation 1 granddaughter looked like, so I sent my Generation 2 heir to go visit. She was outside hanging out. Here she is with green hair, what the game gave her. Very stylish with the outfit the game gave her as well. Fits the green boots she is wearing.

It would have been a surprise for you when you saw that the game had given her green hair! @LegacySims2017 🙂 It does though go well with her green boots!
