Hello everyone! I borrowed an idea from @PipMenace and created this lot to be the "neighborhood ranch" where sims can visit and gain riding skill with horses. I made it a Tiny Home so that sims and horses will gain skill faster when playing on this lot. EDIT: That's not true. The small home lot does not have the skill boost. :-(
It's called Roan Riders Ranch, honoring the town in which it was built (Rider's Glen) and the original lot (Red Roan Field). It is searchable by hashtag. :-)
More pics in the spoiler. :-)

@JonaO703 What a nice ranch, and a fantastic idea to make it a tiny home for fast skill-building for the neighborhood!... and oh my goodness, I love the ranching household (and you already knew how good-looking I thought those horses were! Thanks for sharing! 🙌
Oh, and don't you love those thumbnails with horses in the household!?! ❤️

@SheriGR Thanks! I tested it and found that the skills only build faster when you're playing the household on the lot; not for sims just visiting, unfortunately. :-( Still, I like the idea of having a place where I can take my sims who don't have horses to practice riding.
Also, the thumbnails are sort of ridiculous at times. lol

@JonaO703 Terrific build. That is the biggest lot in that world and you did an excellent job . Gotta love it. ♥

I made this little debug horse shelter if your interested. It's in my catalog. Added a bar on the back end of the build so I could hang the pitch fork and other implements of destruction. LOL
I like it in my game ♥

Cozy Corner build in New Appaloosa. This is in town and has an upstairs study and a downstairs nectary. Not really stairs, no room but ladders worked. Will be building something entirely different next time.

Hey y'all! I added an updated version of my Roan Riders Ranch lot because I learned that the tier 3 Small Home lot does not offer the skill boost. I thought all tiny home lots had the skill boost but that's not true. So I made a few changes and this tier 2 tiny version has the skill boost.

It looks excellent! Great layout. One think about the fireplace wall. It drives me nuts in my builds how it looks hollow. I found if you go inside of it and up arrow the platform to the top it stops looking hollow. I like it much better when it stays solid looking. I really like your build. I will download and give it a work out. LOL I think if you turn the two covered chairs outward a bit you could fit in a table and the new pack radio. May as well get the dancing skill worked on for those cowboy dances at the bar. Haw Yee! Or however they say it instead of Yee Haw!

@ReneHollyDesign1 Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely try to remember the platform idea in the chimney because I usually like hanging a painting above the fireplace and hate that it disappears in cutaway view. I tried adding a table between the chairs but I didn't like how it looked with the hanging plant. I tried making the plant smaller but then it was too small. I wish we had more increments when making objects smaller and larger. Anyway, I did add the radio to the fireplace. :-)
Edit: I also forgot to mention that I had to move the kitchen outside to the back patio in order to get the tiles down. I really didn't want to sacrifice the space in the living room.
Edit2: One more thing... :-) I wasn't sure about leaving this wall to divide the entry from the living room but I like how it turned out; with the coat rack and umbrella stand separate. What do y'all think?
