Sharing your Legacy

I use blogger for my real story telling. But I use tumblr for the random stuff and screenshots that won't fit a storyline.
But I've had blogger since forever so I'm just used to it.

Mine is on blogger, although there is a lot of good wordpress stuff out there too, and then I 'advertise' here on the forum. It's a little easier to host it externally and then share the updates I've found.

I'll agree with that one. The forums (and tumblr) move fast. Blogger and Wordpress - can be dedicated to just your story/stories.

Create there and advertise on the forums.

I might use tumbler but unfamiliar with it

I'm pretty sure I will use Blogger for my legacy. Like I did with some TS3 legacies as well.

If you use Blogger you can easily upload pictures from your PC to the blog. Just be aware there is limited space provided, so you will like to resize pictures and save them for web. If you do, the limited space is absolutely no problem for a long going legacy.

I've never done a legacy either (I came into TS3 sooo late)! But I'm gonna do one for TS4 and I think I'm gonna use Tumblr. I have other blogs on Blogger that are non-Sim related, and kinda inactive tbh, lol, and I don't have a WordPress account. I've tried Tumblr several times for the photography but got so sick of all the drama that goes on there and always deleted my accounts, haha, but I'm used to using it and I think for a Simblr it should work pretty well for me. :#

I use tumblr for everything, so I'll just update there and then post highlights here with a link to my legacy tags on my tumblr. It's also where I'm going to be hosting my CC and my random gameplay photos. :) I really like its ease of use, and honestly Blogger and Wordpress I've tried before and they are just too much work for me.

"Simblr" does have it's fair share of drama, but the key is to ignore it. :) It can be a great place to host a legacy because of the way you can set up your blog, but it is a little more difficult to get noticed--my suggestion is to have a post here as well for 'update notices' so that people who are interested in reading legacies have an easier time finding it.

I am going to post my legacy on tumblr! I have never done this legacy challenge this will be my first try!

Simblr is tumblr for simmers. The community is huge but it is a total different animal. Beware once you get in it's hard to get out. Ive been there for like 3 years and it's highly addictive.
