Should we be able to make vampires that are actually scary?

I love all of these ideas. Scary vampires, vampire human haunting activities! And throwing a cure on a vampire is not exactly my idea of fun vampire hunting.

I think it's one of best done occults but lacks ways to make them feel more authentically vampire. Like they have no activities fit for them.
Knitting? Embroidery? Soccer?
Not that vampires can't do those things a few occult related or darker activities would be nice.
And definitely more horrified reactions from sims would make it worth it to go out and night and creep sims out.

Or even if my vampire club arrived at the nightclub and everyone gets creeped out. Then once my vampires start biting people and showing their true form (non occult) sims gets terrified and starts going crazy. Would love to make chaos like that?

I doubt EA will make something to stake them- mods would have to do that, unfortunately.

I mean we have sword fighting and vampiric spar so they could at least epic spar until one loses the battle and gets turned either vampire or back to human or collected all dramatically by grimmy

If vampire hunters can kill, vampires should as well. Not sure if it would happen, but it would be cool.

Also I want to add one more thing- I don't want all vampires to be inherently scary. I have one vampire Sim I use all the time.

The storyline is a sad one. Forced to watch everyone she ever knew continually die off, she separates herself from society. Instead, she tries to fill the gap with intense studies. I don't mind just giving her weaknesses that make her disliked, but she's not the type to just go around and terrify everyone. In more saves than one, even Vladislaus- her most trusted mentor- died before her very eyes.

Please just add the scary stuff as optional.

Not my first priority, but why not? I have nothing against it, as long as it's optional.

I think Vampires in the Sims 4 are almost the best they could possibly be but a couple of things could be added to make them better.

1. I wouldn't mind them to have a scary aura in fact I think Vampiric auras could come in a couple of types. For example Scary, Regal, Morbid. This could be something they add to the Vampiric Powers you can choose.

3. Vampire dueling Witches. I would love to have Witches and Vampires fight. I think it would be pretty wicked to see. I think it could be just a small tweak to give them dueling type powers based upon the traditional Vampire skill set. I know that there is a brand of magic in Fantasy called blood magic maybe a fw ideas pulled from there.

True! I have a character who, despite even being good, scares the heck out of people. An aura would let it do that

Sims have strong emotional reactions to finding out someone is an Alien in the game but none of that exists for Vampires. I always thought that was odd.

Personally, I wish we could have that trait Temperance has that makes Sims terrified by the mere sight of her- but only when they're in dark form.

If scarier means more autonomous vampire interactions, then I don't want that. I play rotationally and usually in settings where vampires don't exist or where they are rare and not organized enough to do whatever they please. I don't fancy my played vampires to taste-test a townie in plain sight while the game controls them, because that would force my other played sims to anihilate or at the very least arrest the vampire. Scratch one cute bat, just because there is no way to teach the game my lore (and laws)? No, thanks.

More options for the player to make vampires a menace would be welcome.

This could be a toggle... Sometimes I would want to see things go to heck, and other times I want to cause the chaos. I doubt I'm the only one.
