Thank you @pwc171! I don't really know any tips. The only thing I can advice is: build a lot and know the engine. I know exactly what everything does and what consequences every change has. It might be a little vague, but with time you'll be able to create what you had in mind! Also, be realistic when you try to recreate something in TS4, so know the boundaries that the game has.
