SimNation/Simtopia game idea

So many want open worlds, beaches, mountains, ski resorts, rural farm lands... why not incorporate a system similar to Cities Skylines with the foundation of The Sims, this way we could create a world...

I like the idea as a build a world tool but I think it might be too crowded if we had to manage the city as well as our sim families.
