Some folks here said that the Mac audience was too small so they shouldn't bother making a Mac version -- Linux is even smaller.
I'd say Linux users would be better off setting up a dual boot Windows partition, similar to what many of us Mac users have done to play Sims 4. Just boot into Windows to play Sims 4 then back into Linux to do regular work.
