Sims 4 machinima help. (Not sure where to put this)

If there's a better site for this question, please let me know! :)
Hello all! So I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I'm currently writing a novel that I want to make into a sims 4 movie or series. (Voice over) I wasn't sure whether to put it here or the creative corner.

Anyways, I've found a LOT of useful CC, but I have one problem. My book is based on a romantic fantasy. Meaning there are quite a bit of things like swirling bolts of energy, things that CC can't cover. Are there any editing softwares that can add those particles? Perhaps Vegas Pro? I've seen talented artists come up with some of the best sim videos, but they don't disclose their editing secrets (that I know of). For example, the scene I'm most worried about at this moment is;
His curiosity peaked and he needed to know what happened. He didn't want to scare the two girls by busting into the house, so Ace spoke a few incantations, before blowing up into smoke, carrying himself with the wind, into the targeted window. He seen how the red, black, gold, and white smoke circled around Clementine, her eyes were shining white. The smoke surrounding her carried her body into the air.
Sorry if this is very jumbled. I'm on my phone at the moment. I know some of this may be TOO advanced, of course I am aware that I can't get all that I want, but I would still like to hold true to that scene.

Can CGI be done with Sims? I don't think I've ever seen it done but if it's theoretically possible, I'd like to study and try to do it.

  • I know of a mod that can help with some of that. It's the Studio Effect Player. As for editing software, I wouldn't know. There are loads out there that are free but you want to be careful on which ones you download. My daughter found some that looked good but when she went to download or install them, most had viruses that my antivirus software caught.

  • I don't know how you can solve what you are looking for. I use Filmora (not free, but not expensive). They have loads of elements that can be added to your film, but they are more like graphic overlays, not really a smoke cloud interacting with your characters.

    I hardly used those effects myself yet, but here is one example, see at 5:40
