This just made me remember one thing we don't have now that we did in TS2, not sure if it was in TS3 as I never played it, but zodiac signs related to the sims personality that we defined by the bars for different traits. Things like how good or bad, playful or serious, etc. That's why sims are so similar and traits don't seem to do much, because there's no variation within them.
In sims 3 Zodiac was more about sign compatibility between sims.. Sadly I have never played sims 2:((
