It‘s almost 2020, technology has increased so rapidly over the past few years. You can surely build a fast-loading color wheel with the right amount of care, as proven by Paralives in the video above.
Also you‘re not forced to use Create A Style. In Sims 3 you could play the whole game without ever touching Create A Style and only using preset colors, just like how it is in Sims 4 right now.
