Sims with Disabilities?

@LadyEmillye There is actually one point I do disagree with you here. I do not think by necessity all disability portrayals are mocking. Nor do I think it is something the arts cannot touch. It would be really odd to say that film, television, and the like cannot represent disabilities so I think it is weird to say that games cannot touch them, either.

In fact, I really applaud games that commit to the challenge of giving us a taste of a life we could never fully understand. I genuinely think of it as a good exercise in empathy. There are much better examples than this, but the only exact title I remember right now is Hello Neighbor with representing dyslexia. It may seem like a really small thing to struggle to read in game, but mixed with a first person perspective it can give a little insight into some's daily struggles.

This all being said, the Sims 4 isn't an artistic indie game trying express how a specific disability feels. It is an established life sim that is going to have a really hard time doing anything close to this.
