The reason I don't sketch multiple sims at once, (although I do sometimes if the personalities of the sims are similar, or I have a massive list) is because I have specific zones for specific sims. While sketching and painting, I study closely the character's personality, so I can best express them.
It's kinda weird, but I am aware my artwork isn't exactly always conventional. :D
