Small details ideas

Hey Simmers,
What are some small features/ details you would like the sims to implement into the game or have reviewed in order to make the game more fruitful? This doesnt necessarily mean that they have to be realistic either

  • Small details...hmm...ok, how about these:

    A working Galileo thermometer.
Doorbells for your front door with custom ring sounds.
Nail polish so sims can paint their nails and toes.
  • Let's see...
Children/teens could chem gum and blow bubbles
Baby changing table/giving babies a bath
    Singing a lullabye to babies/toddlers
Children able to make a PB&J
More games between sims, such as tag or marco polo or hide and seek

oooo yeah the doorbell would be cool idea, maybe you could install it on your door once you reach a certain skill in handiness

yeah having kids be able to interact with each other more like hide and seek would be awesome! Children should be able to make simple foods like grilled cheese and stuff. And yeah babies dont do anything so being able to move them out of a bassinet and place them maybe in a playmat or in a stroller pram. it could have like "go on walk with baby" interaction. this is a bit extreme but having those baby bouncers but one that can slide from side to side instead of bouncing would be amazing.
  • Sims actually going to the nearest table, computer, bathroom or bookshelf when you click on them to do an action instead of the one furthest away on the lot they are on. Even better always to the exact object that you click on.
  • I always wanted to see spiral staircases, that your Sim can slide down and it puts them into a playful mood. I also think it would be cool to report your neighbors to the Police for noise in the City Living pack, noise complaints could then be involved in the action play career! I'd also love for Sims to complete a first dance at their wedding as part of the goals, I think that would be really nice.

Some bigger ideas I have (but no idea where to post them...sorry I'm new to the forum):

    Action play Fire Fighter career
Burglars & raccoons make a come back like in the original Sims
Being able to hire a Photographer for events

  • Heres another one. I would like more walk styles. There's just a handful really. I think its time it was expanded.

What if the kiddos could do simple foods in the microwave? Examples: hot pockets, pizza rolls, mac n' cheese...the college kids already can do some of these in their dorms. And I LOVE the stroller idea, so inspired. I can just picture our sims walking around the park with the baby strollers. What if we made the social group full of parents pushing their kiddos??

Also, I had another thought...What if we gave teens higher percentages to develop acne? or could we make it a milestone to get braces?
  • I would love to see more build mode items like the Elemental Display Rack - just something with slots specifically for certain collections!
  • How about this: the Fashion Studio subject marks work for painters as well.
