I agree; I gave my sims the 1x1 pool they were all bugging me for, and made it into a tiny fountain. Now they all ask for pool lights "from owning a pool".

And I still get whims for buying the 1x1 pool occasionally, or maybe they want a second one, I don't know...
But it would be nice to see those wishes toned back a bit.
I'd also like to see things like pool wishes tied to sims with traits like Active, Loves Outdoors, and Goofy. And interactions like autonomous selfies tied to traits like Outgoing and Insider, and the new online career.
Basically to limit them and make them more meaningful and special, and less spammy.
