So Happy with my new Sims (their story begins…)
I’m so very happy with my new Sims that I feel a need to ramble a bit about them and their backstory.
Ayden Peterson is older than he looks, lifetimes older… truth is Ayden is a vampire living a near immortal life. Ayden owns a large horse ranch in Chestnut Ridge. The sprawling complex is currently only home to one breeding pair but has room for several more. Sultan is the mustang stallion and Lady Calista (aka Callie) is his palamino mare.
Ayden’s current butler is a large man of African American decent named Vincent Munroe. (That’s what the game gave me).
The Peterson ranch is too large to be empty, so Ayden rents rooms out. Bonnie Sheffield is a young scientist staying in a large room on the ground floor of the main house. Bonnie has a specialty in botany and is responsible for turning one of the windowed front rooms into a plant filled conservatory. Bonnie struggles with her sexuality a little, which leans toward a preference for females. She can be ‘contradictory’ at times, adoring the colour pink but wearing a distinctly comfy wardrobe which includes masculine clothing. Bonnie is also a self-professed geek, with strong interests in tech and the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
The ranches other animal residents include chickens and Ayden’s faithful border collie Basil.
The newest (and last) addition to the Peterson homestead is Brie Sumner. A medical intern with hair dyed blue at the tips. Brie sometimes confuses simple social cues and language, as if Simlish is not her native tongue. Brie works long hours at the hospital with even more hours spent in studies. Brie uses a bedroom upstairs and an old office on the same floor. What the others don’t know is that Brie was born on Sixam, with a different name and a distinctly blue skin tone (as well as hair).
Ayden also has his secrets of course, keeping his private downstairs office locked at all times and the mini fridge in there stocked with the blood packs he needs for survival.
Right now they’re all doing their own things. Everyone works; Bonnie at the lab, Brie at the hospital and Ayden as a kitchen hand. The ladies sleep nights while Ayden gets out in the dark to tend to and train the horses. I’m looking forward to seeing how they progress as they start to develop relationships and secret lives are revealed…
