- I'd like it, but it's not indispensable.
TS4 is a bit like being bullied at school, or like being a dog tied up all day to a post, or having weird, strict, parents - you just end up hoping for stuff and the hope is kind of basically a candle cowering under a tidal wave of non-hope.
Simming is one of the harshest environments on earth. Walking barefoot across Antartica is a cake-walk by comparison. - I mean I wouldn't mind it returning but I'd rather have the fear system from Sims 2 back more.
- Kind of off topic but talking about favourites what determines if your sims loves or hates fruitcake?
Back on topic.. I would like to be able to decide if my sims like fruitcake or not lol. I'm also curious when my toddlers talk about their favourite colour I would like to know what it is so I can make all of their stuff that colour!! - GalacticGalSeasoned AceIf, (and this is a big IF), the favorites had any meaning to them, that our Sims would actually react to, or have an emotional response, then I'd like to have such things back. I selected favorite colors, music and foods in Sims3, and chose to decorate that Sim's bedroom in kind. Even when their so-called favorite song type came over the radio, I got no particular response from my Sim. I would get more of a response in CAS when changing/deciding on their clothing — at least in Sims2. My Sim would either get excited, or sound satisfied with the clothing choice. So much of these finer details have been systematically removed from this game since Sims2 was put to bed.
Just once I wanted one of my Sims to walk into their room, carefully appointed using their favorite color and colors that augmented it and I may as well have painted the walls white and everything else white, too. No reaction, no sound of Umm, or Eww, or them escaping the room as fast as possible because, oh, the horror. Shrug. I guess I ask for too much. - Wouldn't say it's necessary, but I do kinda miss it. It was fun and would love to see it make a return. :)

I wouldn't mind a fear system, but TS2 had some pretty ridiculous fears. Such as use a public toilet. This system made my sims miserable. - WhistWorthNew Spectator@AmySims09
Some Function? that is
1.The color palette is a very Useful in CAS or Living mode! If you can make the clothes more colorful!like Some different material or Texture and color!Incuding A Colorful Hair!Different Color eyes In one sims!
2.Favorite Function Is very Great! and if my sims wanna take a Favorite Drink ! we only need Click bar!Chose the favorite Drink and Just do it! it come to Easier! It won't be Click Every time When my sims wanna Drink a Cup In Bar List!it's so convenient!especially for Vampire always need the same Drink Type!At least 3 or 4 type can set and reset in Blank
Location ! after all the sims need is varied!so the fridge food as the same way to! - WhistWorthNew Spectator@plopppo
- I miss it, it was so fun! I loved to choose those things, some like the colour were not very useful gameplay wise but it helped when personalising each sim a little more. If they would be useful, even for a silly moodlet, it'd be even better!
The favourite food was my favourite slot.
Also, when ordering a drink in TS4 they can "order favourite drink" so why not let us choose what drink is their favourite? I made a rocker mixologist female sim and I wanted her to be into "beers", went to a bar made her order favourite drink, she ordered a Simsapolitan (or whatever is called). I felt it was so out of character!
