Some pets-related ideas
I was cuddling my cats and came up with these.
- Shedding: pets shed, leaving hair on furnitures and sims’ clothing which give negative moodlet (maybe bored?) to the sim. Sims can use roller to remove the hair from themselves and use vacuum to remove hair from the furniture. Longer haired pets shed more. Gourmet pet food reduces the shedding.
- Allergies: Could be a selectable trait in CAS or could be a parenthood trait if the sim eats unhealthily as a child/ not getting enough exercise/ parents have allergy. Sims with this trait will get uncomfortable when they got covered in hair or using hair-covered furniture. They can lessen the uncomfortable moodlet by medicine or other ways to cure sickness. Maybe we could have a seasonal allergy too?
- Pet expo: work in the same way as City Living festival. Sims could participate in pet talent show or pet costume show. They can buy gourmet pet food and pet goods at discounted price. They can also meet and greet celebrity pets.
- Stud service: available as phone/pc interaction. You pick a stud and your available female. The sims leave with their pet to a rabbithole and the female pet would came back pregnant.
- Crafting: sims could craft toys and bake pets cookie which can be sold.
