Spring/Summer festivities

Some May Day festivities wouldn't go astray, either as a stuff pack, or just added in time for northern spring.
Perhaps a maypole, and wearable floral wreaths.

'Folk' clothing. Take some inspiration from the film Midsommar, it was full of beautiful, non-specific 'folk' costume.

A Midsummer Pack could get the Fairies everyone wants back in I think. It would be nice to have the Summerdreams back in the game.
  • Oh, how lovely! The Real Midsummer's Dream, a portal to another world, realising it was here all the time.
Hope it doesn't end like in Disc World though..
  • @PlayerSinger2010 It's the first of May. Traditionally a fertility festival in most of Europe, with singing, dancing, drinking, and food. It usually has a floral aesthetic.
The May Pole, and it's dance, are the central focus of the festivities. The dance is about pairing up young couples, some of whom would marry a few weeks later.

May Day is the opposite of Halloween on the calendar, and in the cycle of seasonal festivities. They also oppose in meaning, May Day is about life entering the world, while Halloween is about life exiting it. May Day is about planting and growth, while Halloween is about harvest and death.
  • I'd buy this. I need more objects for my midsummer dream holiday celebration lot.

I was thinking perfume could be fit into this as well with the floral aesthetic after all. Also excellent description of May Day btw Movotti. Well Done
