"Strange Oasis", a premades series. From Lucky Palms to Strangetown.
One can choose to live in the Lucky Palms a neighborhood with ample parks, recreation opportunities, and a thriving culinary scene, Lucky Palms is an island of green amid shifting sands. This desert enclave offers manicured gardens, modern estates, and cozy abodes nestled on the banks of a pristine lake.
Loner sims might be inclined to move in to the neighborhood of Strangetown where loneliness does not seem to be disturbed. However, the authorities suggest those who move to this weird neighborhood to avoid the nightlife and to never even thinking about looking through the telescopes.
The Oasis Springs County is also home to Del Sol Valley, the biggest of all of its cities its the best choice if your sim wants to stan someone or be the one to stan. A densely populated city brimming with opportunities to make it big! If you can make it in Del Sol Valley you can make it anywhere. From the lavish living in The Pinnacles to the booming nightlife of Starlight Boulevard the capital of Oasis Springs has everything going for it.
If you are a student you should move to La Fiesta Tech, it's easy to see why Sims from all over the flock to this university as their college of choice. But don't be deceived by the quiet desert landscape -- though far from the bustle of city life, the desert setting offers plenty of excitement of its own.
Other good neighborhoods nestled in the desert sands are the full of stories Mesa Flats, the forgotten Vyper Canyon, the working-class driven Bedrock Strait, the quiet Parched Prospect, the spanish inspired Skyward Palms and the wealthy Acquisition Butte.
Who are the families we are going to meet in this strange county? Does Oasis Springs have any drama? Is it true what they say about green people?
Good morning, good day, good evening. good night or whatever time period you're reading this.
I have a huge love for all premades, i love to see their drama, their achievements and everything in between. But, i was missing the families from past iterations in our current Sims 4. So, I made calculations based on the current representation of the Goth family in relation to the previous games, to tie-in Sims 4 families to the Classic Timeline (those calculations showed me that Sims 4 would be set 9/10 sim-days before Sims 2). Then, i also had the idea of writing a series around that to show you guys how sims from different iterations would interact with eachother, as well as exercise my english (i am a native portuguese speaker). Since Oasis Springs is small i can't include every sim from every desert-themed town that was created before. My focus will be The Sims 4 premades, obviously Strangetown/La Fiesta tech and i will try to include Sims from Mesa Flats and Lucky Palms.
I have posted a poll (2 polls actually, we are only able to fit 10 options to choose) to help me decide which families form Lucky Palms i am going to include. Part 1 of the poll here, and part 2 of the poll here.
I am open to accept suggestions for the stories and feedback. I don't have high editing skills, so my pics are going to be really simple. Hope you guys like this series.
Update 11/11/2018: I was going to post the chapters at tumblr and link them here, but i decided that i'll post them both in the tumblr and here.
