Stuff pack ideas

Here are some stuff pack ideas that were brainstormed in http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/907429/stuff-pack-predictions-for-2017-just-stuff-it-forum/p1 this thread:

Stuff pack ideas mentioned so far:
Ikea stuff
Retro stuff (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and or 90s) - typewriter, vintage art, more vintage colors for objects, and retro kitchens please!
"Get Off My Lawn" stuff (complete with Keep off Grass sign)/Front yard stuff
Laundry stuff
Household clutter stuff
Valentines Day stuff/Dating stuff
Wedding stuff
Pool stuff (yay diving boards and pool slides)
Beach stuff (but I think Beach should really be an EP or GP instead)
Thanksgiving stuff/Turkey day stuff
Steampunk stuff
Teen bedroom stuff and clothes
More style options for goth/punk Sims
Elder stuff (maybe bring back MyShuno - the Sims version of Bingo)
Hi Tech stuff (I miss laptops too and have lots of custom content laptops in my game - also they should have a TV stand with console on it/built into it or else a Blu-Ray player and cable box on it).
Kitchen stuff (with recipes and kitchen clutter like blenders and toasters and K-cup machines and dishwashing liquid, and sponges and scrubbing pads and more cabinets)
Bathroom stuff (with more bathroom clutter) - I'd suggest things like cosmetics, and lotion bottles and hairdryers and electric shavers. Also, maybe add the mod that adds more slots to certain sinks into the game officially, only do it for all the sinks.
Second hand stuff/Grungy SP
Accessories (for every age, earrings, beards, hair bows etc.) SP
Childrens outdoor SP
Alien SP (really, they should've focused more on retail in GTW, and put aliens in a separate GP).
World cultures SP
Victorian SP
Holiday Sp (details please, we already have a Winter Holiday SP)
Picnic in the park Sp
Sports Day Sp
Abandoned House SP/Spooky EP add-on
Artsy Stuff/Hobbies SP (I agree, this really should be an EP or GP though).
Mansion and garden SP...they came close with Romantic Garden Stuff and Vintage Glamour Stuff though.
Future Stuff SP (though this really should be a GP or EP)
Build mode options SP
Living room SP (maybe with a hideabed sofa and electric fans?)
Smaller footprint SP (one tiled desks, smaller microscope, telescope, etc).
Retail stuff GP
Tabletop games SP (pool/billiards table, air hockey table, tabletop RPG, ping pong table, Simopoly)
Household chores SP (vacuum, duster, tools)

We have Captain Cordelia's super-expensive 17th century stuff, but what if we don't like that? How about some different super-expensive modern stuff?

Also, more windows and new fences and plants.
  • Ikea. One word is Ikea you got me interested from there :D I love all these ideas!!!!!!
  • Oh, i know: Entrepreneur stuff pack. With factories, workbenches and other stuff. I'm getting bored with this cupcake factory.
  • There are so many themes they could introduce into TS4 through SPs, that with all the themes they could build onto TS4 at least 3 to 4 more years with just SPs and GPs and I would be a happy customer.

@SimsILikeSims... I like a lot of your ideas you mentioned, which a lot you mentioned they could combine in packs. Like your idea for laundry, household chores, and household clutter. A pack with a laundromat venue, a cleaning work station, a new skill- Cleanliness, and a new active career patched in before the pack was released- Maid.

As for packs like an Accessories pack... a Stylist pack where our sims could be a fashion stylist and/or makeover stylist would work really great for more accessories. I also think it would be awesome if they added the ability to craft and design our own custom earrings, necklaces, rings and bracelets by using gems and crystals our sims have harvested.

I do hope we get another Perfect Patio/Backyard themed pack this year but it being directed to more of a Pool Party setting with more swimsuits, new wet-hair texture hairs, standard diving board, pool slide, above-ground pool option, pool toys, floaties, loungers, etc..

With the Holiday SP I would just keep the free content updated from the pack we already have. Where we just received toddlers it would be great to have a Santa Suite and Mrs Clause Suite. A "Sit-On-Santa Lap" option for toddler and child sims to have Santa grant their "wishes". A new elf outfit for toddler and child sims to wear would be adorable. Maybe even add "caroling" for sim households to partake in going door-to-door in the neighborhood.

And your idea about the abandoned house/spooky add-on. I think that would work better if Ghosts got their own game pack with new derelict looking build mode items like boarded up window, broken glass windows, cloth-draped furniture, haunted portraits, etc. A new active career for normal sims like Ghost Hunting. And ghosts got an upgrade with their own perk system with their new skill being "haunting". Make ghosts more paranormal with the ability to scare sims to death. A new reward trait from Aspirations could include "Third-Eye" where normal sims who have the third-eye could befriend ghosts and be immune to their scare tactics.
  • I wish that there was a sport-themed stuff pack or game pack, it could have so many things in it, baseball or softball for the kids/adults, skateboarding for teens/kids, biking, competitive swimming. I also wish there were more fitness aspirations other than bodybuilding... I know we have the fitness stuff pack, but it doesn't really come with much, and it could have had so much potential...
  • I was thinking Sims 4 should do handicap pack or as I like to call it handi-capable pack. That would include customizable wheelchairs Walkers and crutches and leg braces for your Sims. And in build and buy mode you have the option to add ramps to your houses and the grab railings and you can also build a handi- capable bathroom with a walk-in shower and handheld shower heads. And also maybe an extra mini DLC pack with handi-capable pets such as dog and cats with three legs the ability to buy them wheelchairs if needed. They can also make it a main pack by adding a new town with like a handicap accessible Park and lots of other accessible places and maybe add a couple of new careers such as a physical therapist I think it would make it more relatable for people and Sims players with disabilities.
