Totally ! And it was a differently paced chapter , too (except for the final screenshot ) and I enjoyed the variety ! I really like the introspective nature of this chapter .

I was worried people would be turned off a little from this chapter as it has a little more serious (dont know if thats the right word to use) tone. I tried to keep the writing style the same so it didnt feel like it doesbt belong in the story as a whole.

Oh, man! I think it's an awesome chapter. The timing of it is brilliant! I feel it's so effective to alter the pace a bit, and I love it when you write introspectively! I love it in all of your writing when you do it--and I see it now and then in everything you write. I think what makes it stand out so much is that you're not ALWAYS introspective in the writing. Sometimes, your so funny, and sometimes even a little flippant, and then it turns and gets serious or reflective. It's fascinating!

What makes it work, for me, is your sentence structure and your tone. In everything you write, the capacity is set early on (like in the first paragraph) for a range of perspectives and even moods. So my expectations as a reader are that I'll be introduced to romance, humor, sarcasm, teasing, and sincerity and reflection. It's delightful!

Awhhh, glad Erin found a friend! I hope she knows how to cope with all these feelings!

A friend was needed to balance out all the boyfriends :p
