Drama Llama Sunday. The day of reckoning. Remember how I was saying to look out for any Romantic Interests in the relationships...well...today Bailee has a bunch of apologies to make because of that dreaded "Resentful About No Prom Invite" sentiment. So, she starts calling all the sims over who have this sentiment with her to do the apologies.
Geoffrey Landgraab Jr. is the first, and he takes it alright. She also asks him to be "Just Friends."
Wolfgang Munch is next, and he, too, is all good. They are still Romantic Interests. and Bailee leaves it like that for now. Wolfgang is sort of her back-up plan. I mean, she did save his life.
Greta Laurent is really sad when she arrives and I notice that she and Bailee now have RED in their relationship. No worries, Bailee can fix it. But when Bailee tries to cheer Greta up and apologize to her, Greta isn't buying it. What? No...no...no..! Come on Greta, forgive and forget! Bailee tries again, and Greta is just not listening and that RED isn't budging in their relationship. And suddenly Bailee is going through a phase and wants to be defiant and gets angry.
This isn't good because she also has to have Liam come over and apologize to him. Bailee is resentful and so is Liam. They are back to RED in their relationship again. But worst this time, as their relationship status is It's Very Complicated, "Aren't love and hate just two sides of the same coin?"
Well, Bailee autonomously starts yelling at Liam. I mean, really, why didn't he invite her to prom? They went on dates, she had her first kiss with him, they...um...were romantic in the cuddle carts...he asked her on a romantic date. Everything seemed to be fine. Bailee asked him to the prom last week, so why didn't he ask her to the prom this week?
And then he yells back telling her she was too busy for him spending all her time at ThriftTea making those Trendi outfits. He wanted to go and have fun, but she was never home. What? Bailee is about to blast him with a response but realizes she is making a scene and sends everyone home (okay, I did, because her rep is at stake here). At this point, she is ENRAGED. She has never been so angry before.
What is she to do? The answer is to get Liam somewhere private and talk. It worked last time, maybe it will work again. Yep, perfect. So, Bailee asks him on a date. And he accepts. I am surprised this option even came up. lol
They head to Trotter Park. Great place because it's pretty deserted. But when they get there, Liam runs off to chat with Darling Walsh. Oh, Liam...what the heck were you thinking?
Bailee is persistent. She really wants to make this relationship work and she calls him over to kick the soccer ball together, which seems to help. The only romantic interaction that Bailee can do is Frenzied kiss because she is so angry.
Anyway, whatever interactions Bailee did with Liam seemed to work, and their relationship has been restored. And suddenly, they are Lovebirds, and "in luv" again.
Geez! Liam Beckett runs hot and cold, doesn't he? And then I have Bailee do the unthinkable and ask Liam to be her boyfriend. Will he say yes? I am holding my breath...but he comes through...yes...he will be her boyfriend.
Their date ends and it is legendary. And Bailee figures that Liam being her boyfriend will solve everything. Now he will autonomously ask her to prom and want to go on dates. Everything will be great. And she was having a wonderful dream about her and Liam in her head. That lasted about a minute, and then reality hit.
I whispered to Bailee that Liam was just not boyfriend material. He wasn't the right one for her. So, yep, I had Bailee break up with Liam. And the guy is speechless. Yes, I know, one minute you're the love of Bailee's life and the next...not. Well, she changed her mind. This really tanked their romantic relationship, although they still have BFF status.
Bailee confesses that she has had a crush on Liam for a long time, but didn't think he felt the same way (he doesn't). Maybe Bailee was trying too hard to make a relationship work that wasn't meant to be. So. after talking it over, they agree that being friends is best. Liam thinks that's a swell idea and does an autonomous funny face. Alrighty then.
Plus, Bailee heard it through the grapevine that Liam really liked Ash Harjo. And so, being the great self-sacrificing friend that she is, Bailee spoke to Liam about hooking up with Ash. And Liam thinks that he will give it a go.
So, even though they have a RED relationship, Bailee can still talk to Liam and invite him places. At the end of the night, this is Bailee's relationship status with Liam. That was so exhausting, and all for a checkmark for the Drama Llama Teen Aspiration - Break Up With A Sim. Sorry Liam, but seriously, you and Bailee weren't right for each other.
Well, this kind of solves her relationship with Liam...but she still has Greta's relationship to fix.
She heads to school and tosses a football around with Wolfgang. He politely doesn't ask her about the "Liam incident". Although maybe he knows everything and subconsciously thinks that Bailee did Liam wrong by asking him to be her boyfriend and then breaking up with him. Seriously?
Oh gosh! And then Bailee gets a call from Liam that Liam and Ash are now together. She tells him she's happy to hear that, but a piece of her heart is breaking wishing it had been them, and she becomes really sad. So sad that I have to have her call the sadness hotline. Yep, the sadness over the break-up has finally hit.
And the day just kept getting worse, as she injures herself on the Cheer Team and she can't practice cheerleading for awhile. You can make her go to the cheer mat, but she won't practice and just stands there. Nope. No can do. Coach's orders.
Tuesday got better when she received a notice that she got some interest $55,823 simoleons on her funds! Wow! She may never have to work again. But she has to because she is going to be a Super Sim.
Bailee did get a legendary date, but there is no final bowling score. Jeb had to go to the restroom, but instead of going to the restroom in the bowling alley, chose, instead, to walk all the way to the outhouse at the Fair. Why? I have no idea. Maybe he thought that Bailee would follow him to the Fair and they would go on another ride together.
That sounded like a good idea, especially since It was Alien Night, and some sims in bowling leagues looked a little possessed. Um...time to go. Bailee still had homework to do.

Wednesday was the day that Bailee was going to fix her relationship with Greta Laurent. It had been a few days, so maybe Greta had calmed down. Um...that would be a no as they start arguing with each other. I can't believe this is happening and that RED just won't budge
Oh gosh! Well, there is no way to resolve this. Maybe Bailee will try again in a few weeks. After Greta states this, she just leaves, which pretty much means she doesn't want to be around Bailee either. With no resolution to the problem, and Greta being mean, Bailee has no choice but to remove Greta from the Chillin' and Skillin' Teens Club. So sorry Greta. If their relationship somehow gets out of the RED, Bailee will reinstate her in the club.
As it stands, Greta is calling this a Bad Romance. Greta has somehow imagined all this...because there was never any romance to begin with. This is not what I wanted to happen.
I have never had Liam Beckett as a love interest for my sim before. I mean he had started this whole romantic adventure when he autonomously blew Bailee a kiss at the bowling alley. I figured he would be a great guy for her.
In another challenge, the sim I was playing suggested Liam hook-up with Morgan Fyres, and those two...well...he was autonomously kissing Morgan all the time. So, I figured the same might happen with Bailee. Um, no. Liam and Bailee are hot and cold with each other. They were not meant to be. Maybe things will work out for Liam and Ash. Who knows?
And I really didn't want this to happen to Greta and Bailee. But no matter what Bailee did, Greta would not compromise. I should have had Bailee ask Greta to be Just Friends before prom and this whole scenario could have been avoided. :(
