I think the player that requested a house meant bb.moveobjects cheat, which is one way of making it possible to place two items in the same spot; and they do flicker.
It is possible in game to, for instance with curtains.
You do as you please of course (and as the request specifies); I just thought it would be good with clarification, to make it easier to know what kind of build it is. :)
