@Rawla Omg congrats! It's so much smoother once you can keep yours Sim's basic needs up!
Thanks! Life is good for her now! It is such a relief. There is only one little hiccup...
The wishing well stopped having the romantic option for wishes. I tried both of your suggestions. The skeleton did not work. The CAS option did work. BUT, I have to do it each time she makes a romantic wish because right after it stops showing up again. Over all she's tried maybe 5-6 romantic options, the wishing well keeps giving her a one-liner to try or gives her a flirty mood to go paint the town with. LOL Not very useful but is amusing I suppose. I'll keep trying.
Another thing, before I wished for youthful vigor (only tried that once) it said she was given a few extra days. She wasn't. Before the wish, she had 11 days left until adult. After the wish, 11 days left. So... my game is glitched. Still a great challenge though.
Oof, I'm starting to think EA just gave up on patching any wishing well issues. Maybe nobody uses it enough to notice.
I want to say that even when the well is the happiest, romance only has a 20% chance of giving you your soulmate... so yeah, it can take a while! If the well isn't working unless you have another Sim in the house, you can do a little 'fix-it' cheat until you get your partner. Add your clone to the household again, but this time, put them in a little doorless box somewhere out of the way. Use the testingcheats on cheat, and then shift-click on your clone and find the option to 'lock all motive decay.' Then just... leave them there. :D They won't die with their motives locked, so they'll be there to fix the bug until you don't need them anymore. Tbh I haven't tried this one, but I feel like it should work.
