@FreedomWant I would be cautious because I'm not sure if the wishing well will give you another soulmate. I personally had that happen in one of my games and I went the route that @WinterKhirin did, a sort of enemies to lovers play. I decided to accept the wishing well's wisdom and I ended up loving the way their story turned out after the hard work of figuring out their differences.
You can shift click to add the Sim to the household and decide what you want to do with them from there. If you really want that classic soulmate experience, I would save the game and then test to see what happens if you banish (or maybe kill) the Sim, because the wishing well might not give you the option to wish for romance again.
