Also about the ase.xual element, I agree that it's there, even though I hope that this element could in the future be more of a part in human-human relationships as well. Because one of the most common stereotypes about aces is that they're less human-like than others. Although when we're talking about robots or spirit-like or otherwise non-biological beings, the ase.xual element just makes perfect sense to me and I definitely don't mind that. Makes it easier for me to identify with those characters at least :). Actually, my Tad-Amelia relationship includes that as well, though it hasn't become very apparent yet.
Also just a quick note that I'll be mostly absent for the next couple of days. I'll be at a training camp. I'll catch up with you when I get back!
Bye!
Yeah, I've been thinking so much about the Tad/Amelia relationship. It reminds me SO much of my relationship with my boyfriend! He's so much like Tad--especially the times when Tad's not in his body! And the times when Tad is doing and seeing everything simultaneously! And the social perplexity while having so much insight into everything.
I'm a lot like Amelia, in terms of the tea-making and taking-care-of-things, though I also identify with many aspects of Tad, especially his more abstract views. Younger-me was even more like Amelia. That relationship is maybe the closest I've seen to our relationship than anything in fiction, perhaps... which is, I admit, a little weird!
Hope you have a great time at training camp!
