I wanted to attempt to complete one challenge each month this year. We'll see how that goes. I missed January and got sick during Valentine's week which is when I wanted to start this challenge. ...
I was hoping for a little drama during the party, but yikes! Not what I was expecting 😬 (though I probably should have). Let’s start at the beginning.
The day starts with Eric doing his daily workout. This time, Kaley joins him in the gym.
We have to throw a house party. I wanted there to be other people here, but quickly realized that Eric has no friends or acquaintances. So, I had him go out and meet people so we’d have a full house.
The party was set to start at 8pm. Let’s gooo! We have DJ and bar with mixologist set up in the living room. The music is bumpin’, the drinks flowin’...
So why is everyone in the kitchen???? They are drawn to this kitchen stereo like night bugs to the light. (And why was I too dumb to just get rid of the stereo so they’d have no choice but to gather ‘round the DJ booth?)
Eric talks to Val.
He hands her a rose. Val is shocked and flattered.
Val: Does this mean I don’t have to worry in the next elimination?
Eric laughs.
Eric: Well, no, but it’s pretty like your hair.
While Eric and Val are flirting, Leah watches them, glaring. She stares at Val and her hands curl like she’s ready to choke her out. Yes! Let's get the drama going.
But instead of going for the rival bachelorette
Leah walks over and
SLAPS ERIC!!!
She slapped the bachelor, y’all! I need to show you this 3x like a k-drama.

Leah walks away like she didn't just slap the plumbob off Eric.
She goes into the living room and stands in front of the DJ booth, still trembling with a mix of anger, hurt, and shock. Zuri is already watching the DJ. She notices Leah looks off and asks her what's wrong. Leah tries to play it off like everything is fine and dandy.
Zuri shrugs, says the music sucks, and walks away. Leah follows her and stops her in the dining room realizing that if she enters the kitchen there are plenty of witnesses to what happened. She wants her to hear her side first.
Leah tells Zuri what went down.
Leah: I thought he was my soulmate. How could he give another woman a rose when it's not even the ceremony?
Zuri: I get that was hard to watch, but this is a competition.
Leah: But I love him. I want to be with Eric forever.
Zuri: Ok, but he doesn't feel that way about you, yet. You’ve got to show him why he should love you. Slapping him for showing interest in someone else isn't going to do that.
Leah: What if he hates me? What should I do?
Zuri: Talk to him. Maybe he’ll understand.
Leah: I can do that. Thanks, Zuri.
Leah and Zuri hug.

They don't notice they're being watched.
Val takes Morgan aside.
Val: She slapped him!
Morgan: Shut. Up!
Val: Pop, pop, pop, pop! Like a cartoon.
Morgan: Oh my plumbob!
Val: And now she’s over there crying and acting like a victim.
Morgan: What’s wrong with her? That’s wild.
Val: He picked her first at the rose ceremony. So what? They’re not married, not in a relationship, yet she’s acting like he belongs to her alone?
Morgan: If she can’t handle the heat, get out of the competition.
Val: Exactly. She’s gonna try to smooth things over with Eric. I think we should get to him first.

Meanwhile, Kaley was in the basement bowling while the caterer kept going downstairs to talk with her instead of cooking. Jasmine stayed in the jacuzzi the entire time only coming out once. We got a gold medal party anyway!
