10 years later for the Goth family, Mortimer is now in his mid 50s, Bella, being a bit younger than Mortimer is still in her forties. Cassandra and Alexander are both young adults.

Bella has calmed a bit now she is an adult, concentrating instead on her career, working in Government. She was having a fling with Don Lothario, but ended it after he got one of the Caliente sisters pregnant.
Cassandra is now a young adult unfortunately Cassandra is a bit bland. She doesn't have her mothers look or her dads intelligence. Both her parents don't really know how to connect with her. She has however graduated university with a degree in music and is part of an orchestra. She has yet to kiss a boy and dreams that one day she will meet her true love.
Alexander is now 21, he is intelligent like his dad but is less confident, spending a lot of time hidden away at the library or visiting museums alone. He has somehow managed to get a girlfriend, the older (7 years) and popular, Luna Villareal. They met at university when he tutored her (she was pushed back classes while Alexander skipped a few years putting them in the same class). Things are going well, Alexander is planning to propose soon.
