@AdamsEve1231 I don't know how posing in TS3 worked, but it's very easily accessable in TS4. You put the teleporter statue down from Build/Buy wherever you want you sim to pose. You can put it in tables/chairs/beds without needing to type in moveobjects. Then you click on the statue and it will say 'teleport' and 'summon'. You can summon someone or teleport them into that exact spot. So the sim you're looking for doesn't have to be on the lot already. You can put multiple statues in each other for group poses. You summon/teleport everyone in separately. You do have to put all the teleporters down in one spot at the same time. If you add one in later, then all the sims you've already posed jump up. That gets frustrating if you do it wrong one too many times. After they're in the spot you want them to be in, you can click on your sim (with the pose player installed) and you can click 'pose by pack'. You will see all of the pose packs you have and can comfortably navigate through them to find whatever you need.
Pose packs will often state how you need to place the teleporter statue so do pay attention to the posts you download from. For the chairs at a table poses, you might need to put the teleporter statues in the table in a specific direction to get whatever angle you want but the post would probably state that.
