Irina Anna Elizabeth Goth of The Hall inherited The Hall after she lost her husband at The Siege of Windenburg two years earlier. Each morning she goes to see him, but not at his graveside memorial. His true grave is at sea and that's where he will forever be. As The Captain of The Moonwind it's what he would have wanted. And the sea is in Irina's heart. That way he will always be with her.
In the mornings she visits the painting of her late husband. It is her painting of him. She painted him on a Sunday - outside in the rose garden- two weeks before he left for war.

It was quite warm that day in spring and all she can recall is that he couldn't stop make her laugh while she was trying to immortalize him in that painting. This is why she never really got his nose right. Back then it was hard not to notice.
