@CathyTea I have the game through Steam. I found a couple sites that explain how to try and fix the problem. I've tried everything short of reinstalling the game. Now I think I'll have to do a cold reinstall. I'm going to try and install just the base game version first before adding expansions and stuff packs. drr... I just hope that the version authenticates after all this and I don't get the annoying 0.0.0.0 version tag. If everything goes well, I should be able to tell within the half hour.
