My desktop is more powerful, built for gaming and my laptop... well, I have to run all my games through an external harddrive because there isn't enough space on the disk. As you can probably guess, this slows down game performance, loads are twice as long, it can't handle as much cc and modding, and it's more prone to crash. That means I'll have to close everything else open to play (not a bad thing though) and possibly disconnect wifi. I also won't be able to have as much mods and cc (so I only added the bare minimum). Still it's a step in the right direction and while it's a pain to play on the laptop at times, it is working and I think my saves should load properly. The only remaining issue with the laptop is connecting to EA to get my paid store content which right now my laptop isn't letting me. This was my original problem on the desktop and it resolved itself in time so I'll just have to wait that out. In the meantime, I can still play, even if I have to reset up a lot of things. And hubby will look at the desktop later today (since that computer issue went from bad to worse to worst case scenario).
