*sits down* so uhm.. as you may know, I'm 19 years old. And I live in an abusive home. me and my partner want to get out as soon as financially probable but its proving so difficult to find work in my field, I'm worried i'll have to go back to being a dancer and that just, wasn't the life I wanted.
I just want to be financially, emotionally, physically just.. Free. I don't want to be under this cloud.
But it's not easy. I thought keeping a story would maybe give me a distraction but its just stressful, so I dropped it. Just so low right now.
Thank you for listening.
Hugs to you, Anne. There might be other jobs that are less emotionally and physically demanding, like waitressing, childcare, or, as someone suggested before, eldercare. I remember last year some talk about seeing if there were other educational options, too, and that could be something that might provide a more free future.
As you're looking for other work, you can keep in mind that it might just be temporary, so even if it's not exactly in the field you want, as long as it isn't harmful, then it might work to help you move into a better situation. Your decision to stay away from being a dancer sounds like a good one.
Good luck! This will shift.
