Now that the child conversions have been released for the Neverland Tail, I’m going to start updating things in this thread.
I plan on sharing the prologue before the end of April.
As for the chapter 1 in this thread, I will probably see what I can do to delete it or at least do something to help minimize confusion. The story will be starting with the prologue.
Since the Month of May is referred to as MerMay and artists challenge themselves to create merfolk content during this month, my plan is to release the entire Little Merman Story Arc for my SimLit that month.
I’m separating my story arcs based on seasons, and my first story arc is taking place in spring. Ideally, this should also put me in a good spot to start the next story arc during June, the first month of summer.
Hopefully, I can continue to align my story arcs with the same season in real life.
A couple little updates.
First, the prologue will be released either tomorrow or some time early MerMay. I made a few changes that will be different from the teaser I released in the original forums, hence the delay.
I don’t think you can subscribe to the thread, so be sure to check in for new updates. I have plans to release a lot merfolk simlit this coming month.
Also, I will be updating the Meet the MerSims section of this thread with every chapter I release. If you are subscribed to that post, let me know if you get a notification regarding the updates.
On page 1, I updated the old Chapter 1 and turned it into a teaser for the prologue that will lead to the next chapter. This is to avoid any potential confusion as the story might be a little different in the new Chapter 1. I am only doing these updates like this because of how close it is to the beginning of the story. I'm hoping to get the prologue and the new chapter 1 out before the end of the week. The prologue needs one more scene before screenshots are ready. I still need to do the new gameplay for the new chapter 1.
I also added 2 character profiles in Meet the MerSims for the 2 days of MerMay. The characters in question are currently side characters but they might get their own rotation.
