The Old Salt Lot

https://i.imgur.com/nvY1jr0.png

Once an idyllic city park, the Salt Lot now rests as a testament to hubris and ecological ignorance. Now only feral cats and smaller creatures call this lot home, and none should be considered for close contact.

I built this park on the lot where the Salt House sat in the Spice Market of San Myshuno. It started as a "home" lot for the sim I was employing for a Rags to Riches challenge(as encouragement to keep her as far away from it as possible), and was also my first experience with the new terrain tools. After my sim was able to move into an apartment, I changed the lot from residential to national park and added features to really enhance the toxicity of its condition.
If you feel a certain desire to add a bit of ecological disaster aesthetic to your neighborhood, then you can't go wrong with this lot. At 30x30 it fits many available spots, and can serve for inspiration for many. Can be found in my gallery under Samsonguy9000.
Hazmat suit sold separately.

  • It looks great how you have used the terrain tools on the lot! :) The lot reflects well the background details and thene for the build that you wrote about. It is sad that it was once a very nice City Park, but has now deteriorated :(
