The Parker-Goth Legacy (A Mostly Gameplay Driven Sims Comic)
This is my first attempt at creating some kind of simlit (or simtoon ;)), you can read the first episodes here: https://tapas.io/series/The-Parker-Goth-Legacy-A-Sims-Story
It's a mostly gameplay driven legacy story, with a runaway-teen and rags-to-riches setting. And it involves a prominent basegame family ;) I don't follow any specific challenge rules other than no cheating, randomizing traits and short lifespan.
I'm curious to see how this project will affect the emotional bond with my Sims.
BTW I just found out that Riley's struggles to work on his music are mostly bug related: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Write-Song-Book-Lyrics-Loses-Progress/td-p/11680318 I hadn't used the Write Songs Feature for so long that I didn't even realize that it worked differently before. So basically each time he starts to work on it again he starts from scratch, so he never finishes (unless he finds 12h of alone time)... Yet another bug I'll have to write around. I have some slight hope that it was fixed with the last patch, but I haven't tested yet.
I'm struggling right now to balance working on my save file (I once again felt the urge to build everything from scratch  ) and continueing the story. And there's so much new stuff right now, it's a little overwhelming, lol. I got HCH, MFPS and then FR tomorrow... I kind of wish there was more peace and tranquility in the Sims parts of my brain, lol.
Wonder if Alice will look more like mom or dad when she ages up? Guess we’ll have to wait and see! Great chapter! Glad Casandra’s parents did understand her, and glad Sadie’s parents do too! My sims are terrible at making friends lol. Love Sadie and Damian’s selfie too! They do look like they’re having fun!
I love the ending of this one. Sadie wants to reassure her parents that she’s having fun. At the same, they’re trying to make sure she’s okay too. Her father seems to really get her.
But it is time-consuming to make friends in this game. :/
Although I knew that this was coming Mortimer's death still took me by surprise... I was just about to do an episode about Liam but then the phones rang...
I have been really deep into my "Rebuilding Willow Creek" project recently (and although I'm happy with a lot of the houses so far, I still struggle with some, especially in the neighborhood of the Goth house). But at least the cemetary was ready...
Tala Ruano is the toddler from Growing Together. She married Alex via my Neighborhood Stories mod <3 I think she fits quite well into the family. Good choice, Alex :D And since Mortimer is dead now I will allow pregnancy again, so maybe they will continue the Goth line in the main house... I'm also curious to see if Bella remarries at some point :D
The strategically placed thought bubble in the last screenshot hides a collapsed toddler on the ground :D The funeral service was a little too much for litte Alice...
I'm happy to see an update, but Mortimer's death is definitely sad. :( My heart breaks for Damian. I'm glad he has relatives and friends to support him. This is a beautiful sendoff for Mortimer.

Poor Alice. You did a kind thing by editing over her. :D I can understand little kids getting tired of long ceremonies.
@haneul I totally didn't care for little Alice, lol. I was so caught up with capturing the older Sims that I forgot all about her needs... At least there was some cake on a table :D
What I forgot: Cassie got a personality discovery pop up and got the Family Oriented trait. I was surprised how thoughtful the game was... :D
