Chop chop chop Cassandra was making another salad for the hungry family
unfortunately no one in this house seemed to know how to cook
so the duty somehow always seemed to fall on her
even though she too, was no master chef.
Goths used to have butler but he had resigned under mysterious circumstances,
possibly to do with his awful cat allergy and the arrival of Cornelia and her cats.
Cornelia of course, could have afforded to build yet another mansion
but she had her own agenda.
she had long wanted to see her granddaughter Cassandra again,
for she had secrets to share.
What kind of secrets you ask?
Oh the ordinary ones,
like when your grandchild is the first witch in generations
to inherit magical lineage from both sides of the family,
a joyous occasion indeed.
Cornelia couldn't wait to introduce Cassandra to magic
but first it seemed rite of ascension was in order
sure she had the bloodline of her ancestress,
but skipping generations always seemed to require some work Cornelia had learned.
