Sigurd has become a young adult and moved out, and is trying out his luck in Willow Creek.

He's bought a small, modern house in a neighborhood close to where his father Jonatan grew up. It looks really pretty now in early fall.
He's taken a job in business, and for the time being he's just working in the mail department of the company. He can't afford a piano yet, but he brought an easel with him from Windenburg and spends some afternoons painting.
