@meubanks Unfortunately the tooltip isn't useful in this case because it just says that it's from decorations, while I'm sitting here desperately tring to find out what piece of decoration it is! The inspired moodlet happens to all sims in the area of the chess table which is why I thought it might be the bird feeder or wind chime because they're close. I've got an element next to the chess table, it gives off a focused aura but it's not enough to override the inspired moodlet. Can't afford a microscope or observatory right now but Margo can paint a focused painting at any time because of the painter reward trait so I'm going to have her make one. I'm going to use ponder moves in the future as well.
At the moment I'm thinking that it might just be smarter to move the chess table into the office area and stack focused auras there, that way kids can do homework there as well. I just think that none of the available chess tables look like they fit well inside except for the really expensive one :disappointed:
Setting up a separate room for focused decor is a good strategy, because do many skills benefit from it. I can't offer any insight as to whether the bird feeder or wind chime give an inspired buff. I have that pack, but I haven't used either of those items extensively in my own game. If I had to place a bet, I'd say the wind chime is the more likely "culprit". Maybe try moving the items to household inventory in order to test further. I don't have much play time at the moment, so most of my feedback is limited to things that I've played around with a lot. I'm a bit of a completionist, so there are a lot of game play facets that I've tested, but unfortunately I don't have much information on either of these two items.
