The Sims 4: Gods and Monsters Pack/Expansion concept

The Sims for me has been an incredible experience from the beginning and until now. But I want to see this franchise expand and blow up tremendously and I honestly feel that if developers read this, they'll feel the same way I feel in that this could be huge for The Sims 4.

First and foremost, I'm not trying to sound rude or critical; however, I'm genuinely surprised that EA has not included one imperative feature in its previous installments: Hybrid Sims.

I was kind of taken aback when I got The Sims 3: Supernatural expansion pack that this was not a thing. The following is my proposal for integrating this concept into The Sims 4: Gods and Monsters:

With the vampire pack for this series I found the abilities a vamp sim could attempt to get was a very refreshing and practical idea. With that said, incorporating hybrid Sims could work this way in theory should EA follow that same concept, with some tweaks of course. For example: say a vampire Sim and a werewolf Sim produce offspring. This Sim will be 50% vampire and 50% werewolf. With the development of that child Sim, it can gain abilities on either side with the same perks idea as the vampire interface. However, this new Sim is limited to how much and how many abilities it can obtain. Half of their overall abilities can only be 50/50 from each side. BUT, this can also unlock "hybrid" abilities such as maybe the vampire/werewolf Sim can be immune to sunlight from the get go.

Now, to up this idea to another level: say that ware/vamp Sim has offspring with a witch or fairy. That Sim child produced from that union should bare 33% from each supernatural creature. Say they get with a fairy. That ware/vamp/fairy child gets with a witch -- now that new child would be 25% of each. Do you get where I'm going with this? The more you introduce a new supernatural creature the more "watered down" but essentially more unique they become. If this "Super Sim," as I call it, has a child with a mortal Sim, then the breeds, abilities, and percentages will become randomized. Also, if they reproduce with a supernatural Sim that they already have the genes for, they can increase the access and percentage of that supernatural creature in the next Sim.

Moving along...

I've called this proposed Expansion or Pack with "Gods and Monsters." Without getting too convoluted I'll do my best to explain this without sounding like it's too much.

Gods and Monsters Sims:

Of course, they could categorize the Monsters as vampires, witches, werewolves, fairies, etc.

As far as Gods, I would like to see a Greek Mythology approach to this. This means they could introduce a Sim with the powers of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, etc. And oh yes, I implore there be demigods using the same model of hybrids I proposed earlier.

These original "Gods" can be romanced, destroyed, make visits, be summoned or they can summon you (think alien where you get abducted), worshipped and so on and so fourth (See Ascension or Descension in “Become Chosen”).

Groups/Following:

Much like groups, you can create "followings" which Sims can chose which god to follow and worship -- if it's one, two, three or more -- they can do it. This can give you access to favors that can be granted by the gods worshipped. I have more ideas for this but I don't want to overwhelm the readers or developers any more than I probably have. I still have more. As a child Sim, you could make a name for yourself and eventually become an entity to be worshipped, thus creating your own following.

Worlds:

What could be better than living among gods and Monsters? How about new world(s)? Now, in order to save EA from the potential upset from religious individuals, we can give the worlds I propose as heaven and hell new names like: Light Realm and Dark Realm. These two new worlds could be incredible. The light realm obviously represents heaven and the dark realm would represent hell. Makes sense. Gaining access to these worlds wouldn't be easy (although with cheats, anything can be made easy).

Who has access? Well, I propose children of the gods in either realm have access after achieving a certain ability with perks. Depending on which realm the god of the child is from, they'll only have access to that realm. But, after certain requirements are met, any child of a god can access both realms. I have more ideas about this but again, don't want to overwhelm or give away too much. Also, if you gain access to either world you can attempt to (successfully or unsuccessfully) tip the balance between good and evil by deploying demons or angels to the world to influence it. It's possible to top it so far either side that people would be generally happy or upset and so on and so fourth.

Deaths:

Death is always exciting in The Sims as morbid as that sounds. New death types could be a little more intricate. Each Sim should come with a meter that represents which side they're more apart of: Good or Evil. The more good deeds they do, the more their meter leans right, and vice versa for bad deeds. Upon death of any kind, since there is no longer a cemetery, Sims who die can either go to the Light Realm depending on if their meter is right or the Dark Realm if it's left. If a Sim has either the "Good" or "Evil" personality trait, they automatically start off with bonus points immediately starting them off right or left.

Become Chosen:

If a Sim reaches a certain level of Good or Bad, the gods of either realm can claim you without you dying and you can either Ascend or Descend. With Ascension you can become Angelic, and of course with Descension you can become Demonic. This, of course, introduces two additional supernatural creatures with their own powers. More ideas on that but let's move on. Along with this, Ascend or Descend could be considered “sub” jobs. As they perform their jobs, they can eventually become gods themselves. Thus, making them entities to be worshiped as mentioned above earlier. And like how you’d select requirements for groups, you can select what you want to be known for as a god.

Influences on the world:

Every Sim will occasionally get an interaction where a notification will appear and it could say something like "The spirit of Zeus beacons you do 'this' or 'that'." Completing these divine tasks could get you favor or cost you favor for good/bad and with that god.

Possible Lifestate Adds:

Zeus
Poseidon
Athena
Hades
Ares
Trivia
Angels
Demons

I know that was a lot to read, but, I hope it was worth the read. What does everyone think of this? If you read at all and feel a fire in you like I do, then there’s only one way this will get noticed. Be loud.
