... I would treat this more of a hippie commune type thing. You could just spend the money earned at the end of say each week and divide it up among the three. Less keeping track...
It is *really* hard to keep track. Money was flying in and out of the account, because each fellow is cooking food and earning money at work and Xavier was making paintings (each small costs §50), then selling them at who knows how much... I can only imagine how much more hectic it'll be once Yousuke starts getting royalties and Zach starts selling his programs and doing freelance work. Yikes! I'm liking the pooled finances idea more and more :).

...Like you could have a woman and 2 guys and throw in a romantic Sim and see how they interact. Will love blossom? Or would nothing happen...
Could get *very* interesting!

...That would be hard in one lifetime since you are only controlling one Sim at a time every 3 days on the same Sim...
This is very true. During my first (failed) attempt at this Challenge, I found that by the time I was back in control of a Sim, it took virtually all day just to get his needs sorted. Hadn't washed, hadn't eaten, nearly about to wet himself... the guys are adorable but they stink at looking after themselves.

...@SimPoseyYum I LOVE your house and guys. That is what got me involved in this challenge...
Oh, thank you!!! I like the way they turned out and was very happy to see them get along so well right off the bat. Funny note: I chose those names, X, Y and Z, to help me remember whose house was whose :).

...So does this mean no TV, computer, easel, radio, etc. Nothing that is fun or would build skill until it is needed for their job or just until they earn the money? I am assuming we want to start out with practically zero funds after building the three houses right?...
Oh nooo! I hadn't noticed that rule! Eep, that means I goofed AGAIN!!! When I created these guys, I knew Xavier was going to be a painter, so I automatically placed an easel in his condo. And I knew Yousuke and Zach were going to need computers, so I furnished them at the start. Do I need to remove those items? *sniff* Do I need to start over? (Not a major tragedy -- I haven't had a chance to do much since my last post, so if that's the way it is, I can live with it). I suppose it makes sense. They probably shouldn't have access to those amenities until they can afford to buy them.
If you want me to start over (which would probably be the fairest thing to do), just say the word :).
